We’re making 2 significant changes tonight. First off, we are announcing that we are adding new plot sizes. You can now create 30×30, 25×25, or 5×5 plots. These will give you more options and space to express your creativity. You can buy these new plots in the home marketplace, click here.
Additionally, we are introducing a new currency called Gold Bars. You can see where you can use Gold Bars around the site with its icon, . You can use Gold Bars to buy the new plots or you can convert them back into MiniBucks. We will be introducing more things that can be bought with Gold Bars soon. We’ve recently updated our application to help make it a little easier to use. We’ve removed the MiniToy concept for the time being (although they will still show up in your MiniHome if you have placed them there). We’ve added an invite your friends page now where you can invite all of your friends to join you. You will get 1,000 MiniBucks for each friend that you invite and 3,000 MiniBucks for each invited friend who joins the application. This is a quick way to help make some more money.
Stay tuned as we continue to update and improve the application in these upcoming weeks.
This will be a very small update. We just added 3 more scenes for you to play around with: a Country Home, a Small Park, and a Wedding scene. These 3 new scenes are brought to you again by our very own Cierlo!

We are pleased to announce the release of MyMiniLife’s interactive greeting cards! These cards are FREE (both in real money and in minibucks sense) to create and send to your friends and family! You can decorate cards just like you would a MiniHome and personalize it with gifts, music, photos and more!

Has anyone noticed the new scenes that you can build yet?
One new thing that we’re trying out is the ability to create and decorate scenes on MyMiniLife. We want to help give some of the new members a chance to experiment with their creativity and build really nice looking MiniHomes without having to spend a lot of time. We’ve been working with the MyMiniLife community’s very own Cierlo to help bring these to you. As of right now, the only 2 scenes available are a soccer field and a pool party, but there will be more coming soon! Of course, you can always start from scratch too. If you have any requests for specific types of scenes, let us know in the comments below!
We also added a new auto-play feature which automatically plays through the videos, pictures, sticky notes, and interactions in your MiniHomes. You can start and stop the autoplay with the large Play / Pause button in the top left corner of the MiniHome. The auto-play gives you an easy way to see what’s in your MiniHome.
We’ve made some small improvements to MyMiniLife recently and we’ve added a few new features too. These changes are focused on you collecting and organizing your favorite things on MyMiniLife.
MiniHome Favorites & Item Wishlists
You can now add MiniHomes to a favorites list and keep track of it from your favorite MiniHomes page. You can use this as a way of tracking specific MiniHomes and how they are changing over time. You can also browse the most favorited items in the explore system.
You can also now add items to a wishlist so you can purchase them later. Your wishlist will also show up on your profile so your friends can gift the items that you want to you! You can start adding items to your wishlist from the marketplace now!
Item Creation Contest
Thank you to everyone that entered the 2008 Holiday Contest. The MyMiniLife team is proud to announce the official MyMiniLife Item Creation Contest!
Contest Rules:
You will need to add the special “MML Item Contest 2009″ tag to your item in order to enter the contest. There are two ways to do this. First, you can click the special button in the item creator when you’re creating your item.
If you forgot to add the tag in the item creator, you can add it from your created items page. Click on the “Add To Item Contest” button on the right side of this page (it will only show up for items created during the contest).
Only items created after the contest started will be accepted (previously created items will not be accepted). The very last time for entering the contest is February 7th, 2009 at 11:59pm Pacific Standard Time.
Judges will be the MyMiniLife Team and we will announce the winners a week after the contest has ended.
We will be judging based on creativity, originality, and completeness of the item.
Grand Prize: 100,000 MiniBucks and an exclusive trophy item
2nd Place: 75,000 MiniBucks and an exclusive trophy item
3rd Place: 50,000 MiniBucks and an exclusive trophy item
Best item with a Valentine’s day theme: 30,000 MiniBucks
Best item depicting a mystical creature: 30,000 MiniBucks
Best structural item (Wall/Roof/Platform/Etc): 30,000 MiniBucks
In addition to the top prizes there will be several judge’s prizes, each of these winners will receive 15,000 MiniBucks.
All qualified contestents will receive an exclusive special “1st MML Item Contest” item from the MyMiniLife team! This item is unique and will not be sold or made available after this contest!
